GENERAL QUESTIONS

The creditor or provider of service and date of service are listed on the initial letter you would have received from Eagle Accounts. If you do not have that letter, contact us at 800-878-5165 or use our online chat service.

Eagle Accounts does not report accounts to the national credit bureaus for at least thirty days after the first letter is mailed. If the date on your letter is less than thirty days ago, your credit has not yet been affected. If more than thirty days have elapsed, please contact a representative at help@eagleaccounts.com

GOVERNMENTAL ACCOUNT QUESTIONS

Several counties are now cleaning up support docket fees. Much like child support, they continue until the case is closed. Also similar to a child support order, you don't get a reminder each time they're due.

The collection fee is authorized by Indiana Code 5-22-6.5-3. Many governmental offices believe that these fees charged to you are far less than court cost, travel expense, and missed time from work that a lawsuit would cost you.

The Annual Support Fee, commonly referred to as a docket fee by County Clerks, is a yearly fee assessed per Indiana Code 33-37-5-6 on an action in which a final court order requires a person to pay support or maintenance payments.

One Driver, One License, One Record. What that means is the states (except Georgia, Massachusetts, Michigan, Tennessee, and Wisconsin) share information concerning license suspensions and traffic violations of non-residents and forward them to the state where their license is considered the home state. That state would then suspend the license until the state issuing the information lets them know this is taken care of.

MEDICAL ACCOUNT QUESTIONS

Please contact your insurance company before calling Eagle Accounts. They can advise you if your insurance was billed, how much they paid and whether there is a balance remaining that is your responsibility.

The Financial Policy of the provider calls for guarantors to be responsible for collection agency fees should the account be placed with an agency.
